The UK Royals Celebrate 5 Years of Wedded Bliss!

UK Royals Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, (formerly Kate Middleton) recently celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary. They married five years ago in a lavish Royal ceremony held in Westminster Abbey in London, with the eyes of the world upon them. It was the biggest Royal wedding since Prince William’s parents, Charles, Prince of Wales, and the late Diana, Princess of Wales.
At the time of the wedding, 237 tweets were being sent per second on twitter before it even had begun and 1,900 guests were invited to the service such was the high profile nature of what many called ‘the wedding of the decade.’
In the five years since, the Duchess of Cambridge has become a style icon in her own right having famously inspired the ‘Kate effect’ which is where an item of clothing that she wears in public sells out within hours of the images appearing in the public eye.
The couple have also been blessed with a little Prince and Princess in this time, have conducted numerous Royal tours and cemented their relationship as one of the most high profile Royal couples in the world.
