What is your style of photography?
Formal v candid/reportage? Well, personally I like both for different reasons. I offer both styles of photography or a combination. My purpose is to create images that will take you back to that day, evoke the emotions and feelings, show those amazing moments that you shared with your families and friends and that you may have missed on the day or may forget over time. I aim to capture your natural smile, the twinkle in your eyes and authentic expressions of both of you – moments of joy, tenderness through an embrace or simply a look. Group shots? Of course I take group shots – there are moments during the wedding when a more formal approach is appropriate. Whenever possible I use natural light, wonderfully soft. I shoot in colour; however, some photographs lend themselves to black and white photography – your choice.
What do you do before the wedding?
I provide a personalised service so we meet and I listen to the vision you have of your day. I discuss your expectations in the free consultation meeting. One month before the wedding, we discuss details such as timings, must have shots, names of the wedding party that I must remember. But I am at hand any time should you wish to discuss anything!
What do you offer?
Each client is unique. You put so much effort in planning the perfect wedding day that you have always dreamed of. You deserve a service to suit your needs – one size cannot fit all. Packages are put together in blocks, depending on your requirements and preferences. I take a second shooter for a large or long wedding. Packages will typically include: time on location, editing, on line viewing gallery, album design. I use good suppliers to turn my work into lasting products.
How do I know we’ll gel?
We have a consultation or a face to face meeting before you book. Arranging an engagement photoshoot gives us an opportunity to know each other and have a taste of what will be like on your big day.
Do you travel?
I do – Although the main coverage areas are Surrey and Kent and Sussex, I will travel to any destination.
How do I book?
You can call me or email me some details. I will check my availability. A firm booking is made when you sign the contract and a non-refundable deposit is paid to secure the date.
Are you insured?
I have professional indemnity and public liability insurance.
What happens after the wedding?
Editing your images takes between 4-6 weeks after the wedding. They images will be made available on line and/or preview book. I can supply prints, albums, canvases, frames.
What else do I need to know about you?
Well, I listen to music– Coldplay (I am a BIG fan!) and Ed Sheeran. Caffeine keeps me going and I love chocolate (who doesn’t?). I relax by practising yoga or walking my dog in the park!
